Muscat: Salam Air, Oman’s first budget airline, will make its debut flight to Salalah from Muscat during the third week of December; the airline’s CEO has tweeted.
“We will fly to Salalah from Muscat during the third week of December,” Khalid bin Hilal Al Yahmadi, Chief Executive Officer, Muscat National Development and Investment Company (ASAAS), tweeted on his official twitter handle.
The CEO also has tweeted that the airline has got a special code from The International Air Transport Association (IATA).
ASAAS, which has been awarded the licence to operate Salam Air, is a state-owned joint stock company which aims to support the Omani government’s short and long-term economic goals.
