RAO receives new batch of citizens wishing to undergo military training

Muscat: The Royal Army of Oman (RAO) on Monday received a new batch of citizens (males and females) who wish to obtain military training and join the RAO units.

The programme is in pursuance of integrated national efforts made by the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) to employ citizens in coordination with the Ministry of Labour.

The citizens will undergo basic military training as new soldier recruits scheduled to undertake national duty after passing the stages of qualification and medical fitness physical examinations.

The RAO has extended its expertise, capabilities, facilities and human resources to the new recruits in a manner that provides them with a suitable environment and enable them to join the military service.

The training programme constitutes part of national plans to supply the SAF and other departments of the Ministry of Defence with qualified with talents and serve the nation and its beloved leader.
