Sayyid Badr in phone call with Russian Foreign Minister

Muscat: Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi held a telephone call with Sergei Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. The call reviewed cooperation between the two countries and ways to strengthen that cooperation across areas of mutual interest. The discussions also served political consultation and coordination.

The Ministers exchanged views on current regional developments. They agreed to continue efforts in support of dialogue and diplomacy to achieve de-escalation and contain tensions, in order to address issues and crises through peaceful means.
