Omani products in great demand at Bahrain exhibition

Manama: The Small and Medium Enterprises Committee of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, reached an agreement with the organising committee in Bahrain to expand the participation of Omani institutions in terms of number and sectors in the upcoming editions of the ‘Mara'ee’ exhibition.

Sheikh Ahmed Amer Al Muselhi, Chairman of the Small and Medium Enterprises Committee at the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, confirmed that there is a great demand for Omani products at the exhibition from consumers and residents in Bahrain.

At the end of exhibition in Bahrain, he added that the Small and Medium Enterprises Committee of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry seeks, through participation in Gulf exhibitions, to introduce Omani products, their diversity, and the high quality and packaging they have reached in the field of Omani dates, in confirmation of the Chamber’s vision in developing entrepreneurship and building foreign relations.

He pointed to the importance of deepening the economic partnership and developing communication channels between the chambers of commerce in the two countries, in order to serve the small and medium enterprises sector and enhance its role in supporting economic development in the region.

It is worth mentioning that the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, represented by the Small and Medium Enterprises Committee, participated in the Bahrain Animal and Agriculture Production Show with 22 institutions representing the date sector, date-related industries, and other food products.
