Sultan Qaboos Military College conducts field exercise

Muscat: The Sultan Qaboos Military College at the Royal Army of Oman Academy today conducted a field exercise for the final training exercise, "Shield 30," for its officer cadets.

The exercise was held under the auspices of Major General Musallam Mohammed Jaaboub, Commander of the Sultan's Special Force. Also in attendance was Major General Mattar Salim Al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman, and a number of other senior officers from the Sultan's Armed Forces and other military and security units. The exercise took place in the Royal Army of Oman training grounds in Dhofar Governorate.

The patron of the event and the attendees were briefed on the various stages and training objectives of the exercise. They then observed the field exercise, which was conducted with live ammunition according to the planned scenario.
