Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has expressed its profound concern regarding the recent military escalation in the Republic of Yemen, highlighting the severe humanitarian consequences and civilian casualties resulting from the ongoing conflict. Oman voiced its regret over the continued military operations, which are exacerbating the suffering of the Yemeni people and contributing to increased regional instability.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Oman reiterated its steadfast position, advocating for peaceful resolutions through dialogue and negotiation. It warned of the detrimental repercussions that the continued military approach would have on the security and stability of the wider region. The Sultanate called for addressing the root causes of the crisis through sustainable political solutions that ensure peace, stability, and development for the people of the region.
