INGREDIENTS:
Sweet corn kernels - one bowl
Grated carrot - half carrot
Finely chopped onion - 1 medium sized
Garlic pearls finely chopped - 1 or 2 garlic pearls (optional)
Coriander finely chopped - for garnishing
Green chilli finely chopped - as required Salt - as required Gram flour
- 1.5 tablespoons
Rice flour
- 1 tablespoon
METHOD:
• Remove the corn kernels from three corns
• Using a mixie, grind the corn kernels coarsely and transfer the content to a bowl
• Add the above mentioned Ingredients into the bowl
• Mix well using hands to make a dough
• Take small quantities and make it into flattened round shaped patties
• Drop it in hot oil and deep fry it
• Remove the vadaas when golden brown and transfer it onto a kitchen tissue.
• Enjoy the vadaas with mint chutney or any sauce of your choice
