The Crowne Plaza, Muscat hosted a glittering event to showcase the cars to the media, influencers and enthusiasts.

The two unveiled vehicles boast a much more rugged appearance than their predecessors, and at first glance, both combine the appeal of off-road capabilities with interior luxury and onboard technology.
Haval H9: Designed for Families, Built for Adventure
The H9 comes with a 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission that delivers an impressive 214 HP and 380 Nm of torque. The H9 is a 4WD with a 7-drive mode all terrain control system. It has a high ground clearance of 224mm and an impressive 800mm wading depth. With the H9, GWM is targeting families with its 7-seater capacity and strong emphasis on safety.
The H9 boasts an impressive 14.6” infotainment screen which delivers crisp visuals and intuitive controls for a seamless and connected driving experience. It can wirelessly connect to devices, has a 10-speaker DTS, 50W fast wireless charger and multiple USB ports. The driver and passenger seats come with ventilation and massage functions, while the second row of three seats offers ample legroom and the third row is more functional than before.

Haval H7: Style Meets Exploration
The second unveiling of the evening was the all-new H7 with a hardcore design style that differentiates from traditional flat waistline designs with a sectional splicing design approach. It’s classic yet appealing retro round led head lights comes with a thick wall technology for brighter light dispersion. The round rear taillights match the front headlights completing its distinctive look. It comes with a conventional 2.0L turbocharged 4WD petrol engine paired with a 9-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The petrol engine delivers a high 228 HP and 380 Nm of torque. As a mid-to-large-sized 5-seater SUV, the H7 provides a spacious interior with a luxurious feel, featuring large instrument displays, a 14.6” touchscreen, a panoramic sunroof and a heads-up display. The H7 is classy and luxurious with a bit of beast mode all rolled into one. Its intelligent electronically controlled 4WD features 9 all-terrain modes with dynamic torque distribution and millisecond response time. Amongst the myriad of driver assistance and safety features is the H7’s ability to recognize road speed limit signs and to automatically determine if the vehicle is exceeding the speed limit, thus potentially avoiding speeding tickets.

Another feature to watch out for is its aviation-grade electronic gearshift lever, featuring an overall design that exudes a robust mechanical style. Its shape fits comfortably in the palm of your hand. It also comes with 35 smart storage spaces including a temperature-controlled center armrest box. The H7 also supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto making the screen an extension of the phone.
A vision for success
