ROP seizes over 90 vehicles in Muscat traffic and noise pollution crackdown

Muscat : The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has seized 98 vehicles in Muscat Governorate following a crackdown on traffic violations and disturbances of public peace.

The Directorate General of Traffic stated that the Muscat Governorate Police Command, in cooperation with Special Tasks Police Units in Seeb and Qurum, impounded the vehicles for a range of offences, including violations of traffic rules and regulations, excessive noise, and disturbing public peace. This operation is part of the ROP's ongoing efforts to enhance security and maintain public order. Legal procedures are being completed against the violators.
