Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested an Asian national in South Al Batinah Governorate for theft from a local shop.
In a statement issued online, the ROP stated, "South Al Batinah Police Command arrested an individual of Asian nationality for stealing amounts of money from a shop. Legal procedures are being completed."
20 arrested in Muscat for reckless driving stunts
In another incident, ROP has arrested 20 individuals and seized their vehicles in Muscat Governorate for performing dangerous driving stunts, causing noise pollution, and disturbing public peace late at night.
The Muscat Governorate Police Command, with the support of the Special Taskforce Police in Baushar and Seeb, conducted a crackdown on this reckless behavior. Legal proceedings are now underway against all those apprehended.
