Nizwa: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, on Sunday conferred Medals of Royal Commendation, Excellent Service and Competence on some senior officers of the Royal Oman Police (ROP).
The medals were pinned by Sayyid Khalid Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court. The ceremony took place at the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences.
Sayyid Khalid congratulated the officers on the Royal felicitation which, he said, reflects appreciation for the continuous efforts exerted by ROP personnel under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander.
The ceremony was attended by Lt.Gen. Hassan Mohsin Al Shraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs, Maj.Gen Abdullah Ali Al Harthy, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Operations, Maj.Gen Khalifa Ali Al Siyabi, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Administrative and Financial Affairs and several senior ROP officers.
