Sohar Fort to be closed temporarily

Muscat: Sohar Fort in the Wilayat of Sohar, North Al Batinah Governorate will be temporarily closed  from January 8 to 16, 2024.

Ministry of Heritage and Tourism said in a statement :"The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism announces the closure of Sohar Fort in the Wilayat of Sohar in the North Al Batinah Governorate, during the period  January 8 to 16, 2024 ."

 "Therefore, interested individuals and institutions are kindly requested not to include visiting the fort in their visit programme, as of January 8. The fort's doors will be reopened to visitors on January 17, 2024," the Ministry added.
