Muscat: Due to the current air trough covering parts of Oman, light to medium rains were witnessed over a number of wilayats in South Al Batinah Governorate on Monday.
The rains concentrated on the villages of Stall, Al-Hajjar, Saniba, Shuh, Thaqb, Misfat Al-Sharqiyyin, Al-Muhsanna and Al-Alia located in Wadi Bani Kharus, and led to the flow of a number of wadis. A number of villages in the Wilayat of Rustaq also witnessed rainfall of varying intensity accompanied by winds and hail, which concentrated on the villages of Al-Qabil, Al-Musanna, Al-Daffa, Yaqaa, Al-Rajlah, Al-Qarti, Al-Tayyib, Al-Zahir and Suni in Wadi Bani Ghafer.
