Nizwa: Under the patronage of Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, Royal Oman Police celebrated the graduation of the 49th and 50th batches of specialised university officers of the Police College of Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences and a number of sessions on development of skills of police officers at the college military parade ground in Nizwa on Tuesday.
The celebrations were attended by Lt General Hasan bin Mohsin Al Shraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs, a number of ministers, commanders of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) and senior officers of Royal Oman Police and other military and security apparatuses.
On arrival of Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior at the military parade ground, the column of graduates performed the military salute.
The graduates then chanted the Royal Oman Police anthem, took the oath of allegiance and repeated thrice “Long live His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik”, the Supreme Commander.
Following the military salute to Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, the leader of the column asked permission for the column to leave the military parade ground as a signal for conclusion of the graduation ceremony.
On the conclusion of the event, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior gave away certificates of graduation to graduating officers and honoured the toppers, the supervisory and training staff of the two batches.
