This Ramadan is a great opportunity to go pray in beautiful houses of worship that you might not otherwise take the time to see. Whether for Taraweeh prayers or Dhuhr, pay a visit to one of Muscat’s architectural monuments of faith.
{ Masjid Abbas }
Abbas Mosque is a minuscule place of worship built in 1995. Located in the midst of the dishdasha tailoring shops of the Seeb Souq, it has a simple, old-world feel. Its exterior design is very eye-catching as it is covered in marbles made of real stones in pastel pink and beige. Look for the small, stripped, wooden gate marking its unassuming entrance.
