Fasting health tip: Stay hydrated during Ramadan

The body loses water and salt through urine, sweat, and breathing during fasting. Dehydration may lead to fatigue, lethargy, headache, muscle cramps, giddiness, and sharp dips in blood pressure. It is of utmost importance that those who fast stay fully hydrated by consuming a minimum of two-litres of water per day, consumed slowly from Iftar until the Fajr prayer.
