Muscat: At the Behest of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, Sayyid Saud Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of State and Governor of Muscat sponsored the ceremony of announcing the results of His Majesty the Sultan’s Cup for Youth 2020.
The ceremony, held at Oman Exhibition and Convention Center, was attended by a number of members of the Royal Family, Ministers, and clubs' representatives.
Salalah Club won the cup ranking the first place, A'Seeb Club came second, Al Bashaer Club ranked third, Ibri Club ranked fourth, Ahli Sidab Club ranked fifth, A’Suwaiq Club ranked sixth, Al Nasr Club ranked seventh, Saham Club ranked eighth, Nizwa Club ranked ninth, and Quriyat Club came in the tenth place.
This edition of the competition saw the participation of 42 clubs, which is the largest participation in the history of the competition and clubs. The clubs are Ahli Sidab, A'Seeb, Oman Club, Muscat, Bowsher, Quriyat, Salalah, Al Nasr, Dhofar, Al Ittihad, Mirbat, Khasab, Madha, Diba, Bukha, Ibri, Yanqul, Nizwa, Bahla, Samail, Al Bashaer, Fanja, Al Hamra, Sohar, Saham, A’Suwaiq, Al Khaboura, Al Salam, Majees, A'Rustaq, Al Musna’a, Al Mudhaibi, Bidiyah, Al Nahdha, Al Wusta, Al Kamil wa Al Wafi, Al Wahdah, Sur, Al Tali’ah, Al Uruba, Ja’lan and Masirah.
