Forum to focus on Oman’s logistics sector current trends

Muscat: The Oman American Business Center (AmCham Oman) will host 'The State of Logistics in Oman, Past, Present, and Future', sponsored by the Port of Salalah, at the Grand Hyatt Muscat on November 22 from 8-10 am.

The networking event will include a panel discussion, moderated by OABC Board Member, Shayan Sumar, and featuring panellists Sunil Joseph, CCO, Port of Salalah, Ahmed Tabouk, Commercial Director, Salalah Free Zone, and Aisha Al Saifi, Director, Asyad Group.  During the discussion, the panellists will talk about significant changes in Oman’s logistics sector over the past 1-2 years, and share their viewpoints of current logistics trends in the Sultanate and the GCC region, as well as their expectations of what may occur within the sector in the months ahead.

“OABC member companies that import or export products through Oman’s ports are extremely interested to hear from stakeholders in Oman about what to expect in the days to come,” says Rebecca Olson, Executive Director of the OABC.

The event is being held from 8-10 am at Grand Hyatt Muscat and is free for OABC Members, OMR 15 for non-members (including breakfast).
