Temporary field centre established to facilitate relief work in North Al Batinah

Muscat: A temporary field centre has been established in the Wilayat of Suwaiq by the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA), to facilitate the work of the National Search and Rescue Team in North Al Batinah Governorate.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said : "The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority clarified that the national search and rescue team dealt with many reports related to the search for missing persons, the removal of trees from the roads and the opening of internal roads to facilitate the movement of vehicles and the distribution of supplies to citizens and residents as a result of the effects resulting from the tropical cyclone Shaheen."

"The authority has established a temporary field centre in the Wilayat of Suwaiq to facilitate the work of the National Search and Rescue Team in North Al Batinah Governorate, to coordinate the efforts of the various field teams, respond and deal with reports, " ONA added.
