16 arrested for attempting to illegally enter Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested 16 people for attempting to enter Oman illegally.

"Coast Guard Police boats led by North Al Batinah Governorate Police seized a boat carrying 16 Asians off the coasts of the governorate while they were trying to enter the country illegally. Legal procedures are being completed against them," ROP said in a statement.
