Oman weather: Cloudy skies, chances of rainfall and thunderstorms

Muscat: Thunderstorms accompanied by fresh downward winds may cause flash floods over the Al Hajar Mountains and the adjoining areas, along with scattered rainfall over most of Oman's governorates, Oman Meteorology said on Wednesday.

"The weather is partly cloudy to cloudy skies over Dhofar Governorate with a chance of thunderstorms, continuation of clouds advection over most of Oman, with a chance of rainfall. Isolated convective cloud development is predicted over the Al Hajar Mountains and adjoining areas," Oman Meteorology said in its daily weather forecast.
