Thunderstorms accompanied by rainfall expected over parts of Oman

Muscat: There are chances of thunderstorms over the Al Hajar Mountains along with rainfall over some governorates, Oman Meteorology said on Tuesday.

"The weather is partly cloudy skies along the coastal areas of Dhofar Governorate and the adjoining mountains with a chance of isolated rainfall, continuation of clouds advection over most of Oman, along with a chance of rainfall over South Al Sharqiyah and Al Wusta Governorates. Cloud development and thunderstorms over the Al Hajar Mountains and the adjoining areas are expected towards evening," Oman Meteorology said in a statement.
